That's when the errors started. I thought you guys said you'd fixed it last week :C I really love your game and despite the issues, I still try my luck in playing it, but getting kicked out during missions and abandoning your group isn't cool I went rogue last time because of lag. I went into system and turned that off and it runs fine now. Contact Us Archive Top. The email address for your Ubisoft account is currently: Verify now.
The time now is PM.By rocknrollahMarch 10, in Playstation 4. Hi guys, bought the Division yesterday, digital download on PS4. Only problem is, the game is unplayable. Besides the common agent registration problem solved by logging out and back inI have some serious trouble in the shooting. When I shoot an enemy, I can waste an entire clip, the enemy still stands, then after seconds my hit will finally kick in, and the damage points appear around him.
The enemy dies like seconds after I wasted an entire mag on him. Leave it alone the damage I take. I take cover, I seem to be protected, shoot an enemy, cover myself, enemy dies, and after a few seconds I receive the hits from that dead enemy. I have no trouble with my internet connection, works fine on pc, smartphone, chromecast, even PS4, where I am able to play SW Battlefronts with no problem, even with Destiny I could play normally.
What can I do to fix it? Yesterday evening I didn't notice I still had The Division download continuing in the background. Maybe that was eating my connection. Trying again tonight, but as I said, today in lunch time I was playing just fine! You can post now and register later.

Don't believe it is XIM related as I've never experienced it before in any other game but I think there are a lot of us who are noticing significant input lag during firefights and while ADS. For example, if rapid firing a M1A, I'll click my mouse 10 times and stop.
After my 10th click, the videogame is so far behind, it is still registering more shots after. I'm assuming everyone else is experiencing this pain so I'd like to start a single thread to discuss what others have done to combat this. Post your fixes here! Also, if anyone is on XB1, drop your GT so we can game! This is my exact problem. The game is unplayable for me and has me contemplating quitting or learning to use controller.
I am forever reacting five seconds in past to what is happening. Been using Xim since being on and this is also the first experience where I am worse off using it. I've tried all the popular curves, changing settings, etc. Hours of tweaking with configs. I keep reading that it is fundamentally an issue with the game itself?
Hatemedude Member Posts: 5. I am done. I don't know why Xbox claims you need a minimum of gb for an external hard drive. Because mine installed fine. Maybe this is why I am expwerincing better results with the division. I also want to say the input lag in the division is not completely gone. Its just not as bad. Its actually playable for me using the Xim. I took my anger out on every single dog I saw in the game, I'm glad I don't feel the need to do this anymore.
Thank God I'm not the only one dealing with this nightmare. This is probably the first time the xim4 as been a hindrance for me compared to any other controller. Has anyone else had any luck with fixing the input lag?
I'm open to buying a HD but I'd like to get a little more reassurance before dropping the money on it. I have no idea how it would help with the lag but whatever works. I really enjoy the division and I love my xim3 and xim4 but at the moment there just not compatible.
The Division 2: How to Fix Low FPS, Lag and Freezing Issues
Also, does anyone know why the xim4 would have an issue with this game but not others? If that is in fact the problem. It is pretty sad that we would need to buy a SSD drive to just better our experience. It is obviously not a XIM issue at least from what I'm concluding because I've had it since and never had any problem that I'm facing with The Division. I haven't played with the new patch update but seems as though some people said it is slightly better as they say the Aim Assist has been decreased.
What i think s strange is that the input lag doesn't seem to be nearly as noticeable when using a controller. When i pull the right trigger to initiate multiple sniper rifle shotsthey don't seem to que up or register multiple shots in succession due to input lag like they do when i am play with my XIM. It is very peculiar, as I have never experienced this issue with any other games using my Xim with the exception of The Division.YES NO. What can I do? Opening a support case is easy.

The original game, called The Division, had a lot of potential but ended up gathering mixed reviews because of the lack of content. The game also suffered from an eerie atmosphere making the world feel empty. The game still received multiple improvements through updates and DLC though.
The original game also, thus, managed to gain a fan following at the tail end of its life cycle. The Division 2 came out a month ago, almost 3 years after the original game. The game fixes most of the issues that were prevalent in the first part. The world also feels a lot more vibrant and populated as compared to the last game.
Consequently, The Division 2 has already become one of the best-selling games of this year. However, as with most Ubisoft games, The Division 2 is also plagued with performance optimization issues. Users have reported all sorts of problems like laglow fpsfreezesstuttering and crashes. Fear not, though, as we have found a few fixes that can iron out most of the persistent performance issues with the game. The most important thing you need to see is if your PC is even powerful enough to run The Division 2 without hiccups.
If the specifications of your PC are not up to the mark, then none of the fixes will work and all efforts would be futile.
The Division 2 is a very demanding game, and you need a pretty beefy rig to run it. The minimum requirements for The Division 2 are:. The Division 2 only came out last month and there is a chance that compatible graphics drivers were not available back then. However, a week or two after release, these issues are usually ironed out by driver updates. If you do not remember updating your graphics card drivers, you might not have updated them at all. In any case, you should always make sure that you have the latest graphics card drivers installed on your computer to get the best out of your hardware.
The links to the latest drivers for both AMD and Nvidia cards are posted below. A lot of the times, the game detects the best graphics settings for you. However, these estimates can be hit and miss and you need to adjust these settings to improve game performance. The Division 2 has a lot of video settings that can be tweaked. It comes down to player preference if they want higher FPS or better visuals. Apply the following settings in-game for optimal performance. These settings are not absolute and can change depending on your machine.
However, this is a good base to start from and you can fine tune your settings from here to get the best performance from your game. This can be changed using the Nvidia control panel. Other than that, there are a few other options in the control panel that also boost the performance of the game.
The following steps are only for Nvidia Graphics card users.
You can also gain some performance by removing your secondary display. In the past, this has led to a massive increase in FPS in games. In order to create threads, posts, and interact with the Ubisoft forums you need to have a Ubisoft account with a verified email address.

Reply Share this post. I am experiencing a terrible lag that i never felt in any other game can anybody help me it was going all good until yesterday. Could try and change your DNS on your console to 8. Every other game runs perfectly tough, so i suspect this is something out of my control. I get problems, all the time, where I attempt to switch weapons, or enable equipment, and nothing happens. It feels like the code is caught up, doing something else, and ignores my input, since it typically happens when I'm quickly switching, because my alt gun needs to reload, or I'm about to die.
I dont have such input delay monitor, set into Game mode. Other solution worth trying and does not break anything: - disable any wireless peripherals around your ps4. It's an issue where the actions you perform on the controller are delayed before being performed in the game. It also has nothing to do with your controller, unless certain buttons just don't work at all. This issue has been in the Division on PS4 since the Betas, and has been reported numerous times since the first day of the closed beta and onwards, both on these forums as well other sites reddit, gamefaqs etc.
There have been video comparisons with other games running on the same setup, and the difference in responsiveness is huge. If the input lag is ONLY present in the Division which it is for many peoplesetting your TV to Game Mode or disabling all post processing etc will make no difference to the existence of the specific The Division input lag, it would only help reduce input lag in general.
If you notice increased input lag on the Division as compared to e. As such, this does not in any way help input lag.
Disabling wireless peripherals also did not show any improvement, neither did changing any settings both PS4 and in the Divisiondifferent resolution, higher sensitivity, disabling HDCP, changing RGB settings, sound settings, I've tried it all. Really, since the very first day of the closed beta, again on the open beta, again on retail.
